|AutoCAD | Essentials||The objective of the AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT Essentials course is to enable students to create a basic 2D drawing in AutoCAD software.|
The Essentials course covers core topics for working with the AutoCAD software. The teaching strategy is to start with a few basic tools that enable the student to create and edit a simple drawing, and then continue to continue to develop those tools. he intent is to show the most essential tools and concepts and then continue with more sophisticated techniques such as learning how to create blocks and drawing templates.
|AutoCAD | Advanced||The AutoCAD Advanced training course introduces advanced techniques and teaches you to be proficient in your use of AutoCAD. This is done by teaching you how to recognize the best tool for the task, the best way to use that tool, and how to create new tools to accomplish tasks more efficiently.|

***Note: The Civil 3D course has a duration of 4 days. All parts (1-4) of the Civil 3D Essentials training course are compulsory. The course consists of 2 consecutive days training for parts 1 & 2, followed by a short break to allow participants to revise and consolidate their learning. Parts 3 & 4 then follow on another 2 consecutive days. For example, the first Civil 3D course in 2017 would be on 3rd & 4th May (Parts 1 & 2), followed by 24th & 25th May (Parts 3 & 4).
- All the above courses require a working knowledge of AutoCAD software (at least to the AutoCAD Essentials). In addition, delegates are expected to have attained a post-matriculation qualification in Civil Engineering and/or Surveying.
- We endeavour to adhere to our published schedule for course dates. However, we reserve the right to change the course schedule due to unforeseen circumstances.
- The price includes refreshments during the course and also includes a finger lunch. Should you have any special dietary requirements, please supply your own finger lunch.
- A workstation will be provided for each delegate during the course. The latest software versions will be used for training, where applicable.
